The gorge is about a 25 minute drive from town and well worth the drive there and back for the walk. It's an easy walk with beautiful green water along the way - and at the end.Full review by RBonTheLake

I just went to Hokitika gorge today after heavy rain and the water color is grey and swift. What I wonder is how long the river is going to turn back to blue color. I’m planing to go back again tomorrow.
