Bumayong is an outer suburb of Lae in the Morobe Province, Papua New Guinea. Bumayong is located 12 km North of Lae on Independence Drive up the road from the University of Technology on the Independence Drive loop. A Bailey bridge crosses the Busu River on the road to the villages of Bualu and Situm.
