John C. Flickinger, MD, FACR, is a professor of radiation oncology and neurological surgery at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Flickinger holds an interest in spine tumors, brain tumors, metastatic diseases, effects of radiation on normal tissue, and the mathematical modeling of radiation response. Dr. Flickinger is board-certified in therapeutic radiology. He received an undergraduate degree at the University of Pittsburgh, and received a medical degree at The University of Chicago Prtizker School of Medicine. Dr. Flickinger completed a residency in radiation oncology at Harvard Medical School at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
