Fun western town. Beautiful view of the Superstitions. Shoot out in the street is always fun. Cool stores and really good restaurant.Full review by Valerie G

A great experience with the right balance of history and fun! Neat to see the equipment from the past and hearing what crazy means people used back then to make a buck (or 2). Fred, Matt and the Care…Full review by Jillian B

This was a pleasant surprise. We went here because it was a convenient stop on the way back from canyon lake to Phoenix. The kids had a blast. Live acted out gunfights, ice cream, good food, old time…Full review by RickyoSpanish
about 30 minutes in the mine, 15 mines in the "mystery" house, 1-2 hours through the town limits. these are hills to climb so wear good walking shoes. the train ride is just that, a ride..
Do they allow dogs at goldfield Gold mine in Apache Junction Arizona
A:
I believe so. We seen plenty of people with dogs there. However, be aware that when they re-enact a gunfight on Main Street they will have a lot of loud noises involved.

There is a separate post out on TripAdvisor if you search for Goldfield Ghost Town Train. I did a bit of searching through the answers and it does provide more insight on this attraction, but not a lot of specifics on the train ride itself. The website for Goldfield Ghost Town lists the train ride as being $9 for a 20 minute ride, which leaves every 30 minutes. There is no mention of the days when it is open so the assumption could be that it runs every day. It also says that you can save if you buy a combined ticket for the Train Tour, Mine Tour and the Mystery Shack. We did not do any of those three things when we stopped by.
