Very lovely statue. It’s in a lovely part of Central Park. The only downside is there are kids that climb it and it’s hard to get a good picture without them on it. It’s still a pretty statue Full review by Nikklovecapecod

This is not as easy an answer as it seems. The closest subway is the 6 train at 77th Street and Lexington Avenue. Walk 2 blocks west to Central Park. Enter Park and the statue is at the top of the Loeb Boat Pond. How you get to the 6 train all depends on your location. Easy from the East Side. Not so easy from the West Side. Suggest you download Google maps which has subway directions. FYI-- New Yorkers call the subway, "The Train" ,even though it is not a train. So if someone says take the 6 train , it means the subway.
