We were hesitant at first to book our stay here during a short vacation. We're glad we did. The staff was wonderful, especially Carla, who checked us in and who helped with a work-related matter than… Full review by DrK825

Hello, and thank you for your interest! We have also been very interested in the rumored Tarzan filming at our Sanctuary. However, it is our understanding that the first Tarzan movie was filmed in its entirety in the swamps of Louisiana in 1917. That said, we have long heard stories of a Tarzan movie filmed at Sabal Palm Sanctuary, possibly sometime in the 1940s, but we have never been able to verify this. Perhaps someone might come along and be able to shed more light on it? With that said, and whether one was filmed here or not, the environment would certainly be a great set for a Tarzan movie!
