This is a lovely old home and gardens. I thoroughly enjoyed my tour. I was totally amazed at the number of original items in the home - furniture, clothing, dishes etc. Full review by nashtonA1

Hi Mckenize! Thanks for your question and your call. Sorry for my delay on answering, I had some problems figuring out Trip Advisors system. When I first started working at Goodwood, I was always a little wary of visiting the Main House alone. The first week I started at Goodwood, I heard a rustling in one of the upstairs bedroom. I walked up the stairs and peaked into the bedroom. I searched around the room until I found the source of the sound. Anti-climatically, it was just an information sheet flapping due to the air conditioner. I personally have never seen a ghost in the house, but there are docents who swear they've heard or seen children playing, when there were no children around. Then again, there are docents who swear there is no other-worldly activity happening. My best advice is to visit the Main House next time you visit Tallahassee to see if you can learn any more from our docent's experiences. Hope to see you soon Mckenzie. -Shavonne McAndrew, Community Relations Coordinator
