The bridge in Money MS IS over the Tallahatchie River & is where the shots of the film were made where he jumps. The original bridge, which was wooden & has trusses was burned down in 1972 by vandals… Full review by Julie H

Well, the real bridge burned in 1972. It was located elsewhere. But it’s is the one with the historical marker and well worth stopping if you remember this haunting song Full review by vintagetrailer
