Visiting the library long room has been a bucket list item for decades. After purchasing the Book of Kehls and Long Room ticket on the Trinity website you are presented with information about the restoration projects with videos of decanting the library. I am going to see an old library full of old books not empty shelves. Can anyone who has visited in March describe the state of the decanting? Do you think there will be any books will be on the shelves by early June 2023? I may cancel the visit. Appreciate your help.

I would suggest checking with the library directly. I was there in October and they told us that the renovation would be occurring. Hope you get a chance to see this marvelous sight!
I will be in Dublin from 29 December 2022 to 2 January 2023, do you know if the library is closed in that days ? because i tried to book a visit on their website but is not possible:(
