While appearing on TNT’s “Inside the NBA” on Thursday night, Barkley referred to San Francisco as “rat-infested.”

Led by James Harden, Norman Powell, and Ivica Zubac, the Clippers have gotten star-level production from that trio all season. While the Western Conference is loaded with talent, NBA legend Charles Barkley believes the Clippers are deserving of two All-Stars this season.

Johnson quickly urged Barkley to stop and just focus on the highlights. Kenny Smith, meanwhile, chimed in to claim San Francisco is a “beautiful” city. “San Francisco is not a beautiful city!” Barkley pushed back. “Rats. The Sacramento Kings hosted the Houston Rockets for the second game of TNT's double-header on Thursday. During halftime of the Oklahoma City Thunder’s blow out of the Cleveland Cavaliers in the first game of the evening, TNT showed stars Alperen Sengun and De'Aaron Fox arriving for the late game.

NBA All-Star Game will be hosted by the Golden State Warriors in San Francisco and Charles Barkley has no interest in attending.

Charles Barkley made it abundantly clear this week that he's not a huge fan of the host city for the 2025 NBA All-Star Game. During this Thursday's edition of "Inside the NBA," Barkley and the crew were going over highlights when he gave a shoutout to Detroit Pistons star Cade Cunningham.
