The New York Jets (4-12) move forward into the final stages of their 2024 NFL schedule with a 40-14 loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 17. Following the defeat, as is always the case, we were taught a few things about this football team.

Defensively, missed tackles, scheme, poor execution, and more, has been pointed to as part of the problem throughout 2024. Despite the Jets playing the Bills well in recent seasons such as in their 23-20 clash in Week 6, there was no desire in this one. Allowing 40 points is downright embarrassing–Was anyone trying to play for a job?

The Jets ended up forcing their only three-and-out of the game on that series and got the ball back with good field position. Four plays later, Rodgers threw an interception that led to a Bills touchdown — and then the wheels came off for the Jets.
