Five months after the City of Portland voted to put its support behind bringing a Major League Baseball team to town, leader are taking their vision of a new stadium along the South Waterfront to state leaders in Salem.

Cheek also came prepared with new renderings of the park. The pedestrian- and public transit-only Tilikum Crossing would connect the park to the city's Eastside, and the stadium would feature a retractable roof for Portland’s questionable spring and fall weather.

The Portland Diamond Project, which is spearheading efforts to bring an MLB team to Portland, Oregon, has released renderings of a proposed waterfront baseball stadium. The Portland City Council previously backed the Portland Diamond Project's efforts back in October.
