Ferrari Formula 1 team are facing a potential setback following a key exit ahead of Lewis Hamilton's debut season with the Scuderia. The seven-time champion is now officially a Ferrari driver after his contract began on the first day of the New Year.

Lewis Hamilton has used LinkedIn to share his first statement since officially joining Ferrari. After deciding to leave Mercedes for rival team Ferrari nearly a year ago, January 1 marked the start of his new contract with Scuderia.

Mika Hakkinen believes that, if Lewis Hamilton truly suspects he’s lost his edge, he must speak up to Ferrari. Hamilton moves from Mercedes to Ferrari for the F1 2025 championship, hopeful of rediscovering his mojo after a difficult season alongside George Russell in the W15.

But perhaps little did the F1 world expect that at the final race of the season, it would be McLaren and Ferrari fighting it out for the world championship, with Red Bull severely dropping off despite Max Verstappen hanging on to secure a fourth consecutive drivers' world championship.
