Iowa football fourth-year Kaden Wetjen has been named the recipient of the 2024 Jet Award, given to the nation’s top return specialist, per an announcement from from the Jet Award Foundation on Tuesday.

The Hawkeye offense received a very significant addition on Tuesday when Mark Gronowski announced that he would be transferring to the University of Iowa. The 6-foot-3 signal caller wrapped up his playing career at South Dakota State last month and had been weighing entering the NFL Draft,

The Walter Payton Award, the FCS equivalent of the Heisman Trophy, went to Gronowski last year. Posting a 49-6 career record as the SDSU starter, he's thrown for 10,903 yards with 93 against 20 interceptions. He's added 1,767 and 37 scores on the ground.
