US and Indian National Security Advisors met to reinforce strategic cooperation, including critical tech and defense sectors.

Both NSA Doval and Sullivan reviewed ongoing progress in their high-level dialogue, including in diverse fields such as defence, cyber and maritime security

A discussion on scores of issues was held between the National Security Advisors of both countries. Sullivan briefed Doval on the Biden administration's updates to the US missile export control policies which would be crucial in boosting US commercial space cooperation with India.

The US NSA said India and the US were able to open a "new chapter" in their partnership under Joe Biden's presidency in the last four years but at the same time noted that the sides had to navigate turbulence,

Jake Sullivan will be on his last visit to India as the US NSA from Jan 5 to Jan 6 wherein he will meet NSA Ajit Doval and EAM S Jaishanakr.

Outgoing U.S. National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan will visit India on January 5 and 6 for a final round of talks with his counterpart, Ajit K. Doval, and other senior officials as the two countries look to burnish their ties that enjoy a groundswell of bipartisan support.
