Michael Schumacher's Ferrari 248 F1 car is set to hit the auction block at RM Sotheby's this November, with expectations suggesting it could fetch over $15 million, according to a report by Planet F1.

The immense historical value has been described as Schumacher’s “final masterpiece” by the auctioneers. The car was purchased directly from Ferrari by its only owner since. This was also Ferrari’s first V8-powered Formula 1 car since 1964. In this chassis, Schumacher beat Ayrton Senna’s pole position record.

Gina Schumacher tied the knot with Iain Bethke in the family’s luxury villa in Majorca, with guests coming from far and wide to attend the ceremony. Reports claimed that Schumacher was in attendance at the event and guests saw their mobile phones confiscated to ensure that the Formula One legend was not photographed at the event.

One of the final Ferrari F1 cars driven by Michael Schumacher is going up for auction, and is set to fetch an eye-watering price.
