Shares of business analytics software company MicroStrategy (NASDAQ:MSTR) fell 7.7% in the morning session after the company sold 592,987 shares for approximately $209 million. The company used the proceeds to acquire approximately 2,

MicroStrategy bought about $209 million of bitcoin in the past week, making it eight weeks in a row that the company has acquired more of the digital currency.

The last time MicroStrategy disclosed share sales and bitcoin buying was Dec. 23, when it sold $561 million in shares to buy about 5,262 bitcoins at an average price of $106,662.

MicroStrategy Inc. said it bought $209 million of Bitcoin, marking the eighth consecutive week of purchases for the dot-com-era software maker turned leveraged proxy for the original cryptocurrency.

I think I do give thought to opening an account in one of the crypto exchanges and buying Bitcoin directly or some other cryptos. I don't really think a

MicroStrategy is at it again, like clockwork, even as market correction deepens. The company just dropped $209 million to scoop up 2,138 more Bitcoins. This is week eight of their nonstop Bitcoin shopping spree.
