A suspect in a double homicide last week that left two women dead in a home on the 300 block of Miami Street has been taken into custody, Park Forest police said Tuesday afternoon.

Detectives with the Park Forest Police Department have arrested the suspect who allegedly shot and killed two women inside their home Thursday evening.

Coleman Franklin is charged with first-degree murder in the deaths of two women in Park Forest, with an arrest warrant issued.
