Dozens of people have been displaced after a fire tore through an apartment complex in a Sonoma County city early Saturday afternoon.

A fire at a Rohnert Park apartment displaced 30 residents, causing $2 million in damages. Firefighters from multiple agencies controlled the blaze within an hour. One firefighter was hospitalized, the cause is under investigation.

The Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety (RPDPS) reported that a 3-alarm fire Saturday displaced approximately 30 residents and caused $2 million in damage.
