Northwest Indiana saw heavy snow and power outages in a lake effect snowstorm that began Sunday and continued into Monday.
CLEVELAND, Ohio - The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch, with 5 to 10 inches of snow possible in portions of Northeast Ohio. The watch runs from 7 p.m. Sunday through 10 a.m. Tuesday.
There are school closings and delays in the Chicago area Monday morning after an early-season snowstorm blew in overnight.
On Monday at 11:56 a.m. a winter storm watch was released by the NWS Sacramento CA valid from Thursday 1 a.m. until Friday 4 a.m. for Western Plumas County/Lassen Park and West Slope Northern Sierra Nevada.
Multiple states are under winter weather advisories on Monday, Nov. 10, and could potentially see multiple inches of snow.

Snow rates will cripple travel, including during the Monday morning commute. Strong northerly wind gusts will lead to greatly reduced visibility, especially near the Lake Michigan shoreline. Periods of thundersnow will occur, as well, according to the National Weather Service.
Temperatures 10 to 20 degrees below normal are expected to reach as deep as the South, forecasters said. Snow is likely in the Great Lakes, parts of the Northeast and the Appalachians.
