McDonald's Big Mac and Burger King's Whopper are two of the most well-known fast food burgers. We put them to the (taste) test to see which one was better.

The Chicago-based chain has taken heavy criticism over its Big Mac combo that is priced at nearly $18, among other menu hikes, and has promised to focus on affordability, the New York Post reported.

The team asked for the price of the restaurants signature combo with cheese, in a medium size before tax. A Big Mac combo was most affordable in Houston, where a medium-size meal rounded out to $7.89.
