Mayor-Elect John Laesch will assume office as the 60th mayor of Aurora, succeeding two-term Mayor Richard Irvin.

Applications are now open to fill the Aurora City Council alderman at-large seat held by John Laesch, who recently won election to be the city’s next mayor.
