The quaint 19th century fisherman's cottage is one of eight to have been built in Salcombe, Devon, along the town's sea wall before being turned into exclusive holiday homes.
This lovely little cottage in Atwater Village has just under 700 square feet of living space, but sits on a fairly sizable 7,496-square-foot lot with a grassy front lawn and a verdant backyard garden.
The box (kitchen and master bedroom) is defined in horizontal ipe, breaking through the glass barrier from two directions. The cantilevered volume allows for 1,850 square feet where once was 1,650.
