The city’s case against Bais stems from the foul odor coming off the sixth-hole pond at the golf course, located along the south side of Loop 101, between 67th Avenue and Union Hills Drive.
The pond dredging is intended to improve water supply for the course’s irrigation system. The estimated project cost is $185,000 with the contract amount being $123,875, according to Formica.
Work on dredging the pond at Green Ridge Golf Course in Wickliffe continues. According to City Engineer Pete Formica, he and Service Director Dave Krofcheck are monitoring the progress of work crews.
