Hurricane Milton Arrival: Category 3 Storm Makes Landfall
Hurricane Milton made landfall near Siesta Key as a Category 3 storm Wednesday night, according to the National Hurricane Center (NHC). The eye of the storm moved into Sarasota County along Florida's Gulf Coast at around 8:30 p.m. ET Wednesday. The NHC said that Milton has sustained speeds of 120 mph and moving at about 15 mph.
