Whataburger is building a $2.17 million concession spot at DFW's terminal B near gate 41, according to a new Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing. Once open, this will be Whataburger's third location within various terminals at the DFW airport.

Phase 2 of the project calls for for new access into Terminal A. A detour is in place now at both airport entrances.

Pilot sources confirmed to WFAA that the western side of Dallas Fort Worth International Airport was shut down, leading all traffic to the eastern side.
