Shortly after the conclusion of the 2025 CFP Championship Game, Las Vegas emerged as the host for the 2027 title game.

The next three sites for the national title game will be at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans (Jan. 24, 2028), AT&T Stadium in Dallas (Jan. 22, 2029) and back to Hard Rock Stadium (Jan. 21, 2030) in Miami. New Orleans will host the CFP title game for the second time after LSU completed a perfect season with a win over Clemson in 2020.

Dallas will not host the 2029 College Football Playoff title game as it hoped, but the committee in charge of North Texas’ bid made that decision. A report from The Action Network’s Brett McMurphy Monday said Tampa,

“Hosting the College Football Playoff National Championship Game has been a long-term goal of the LVCVA,” the tourism authority said Thursday in a statement. “This agenda item allows our CEO/President to execute an agreement with the CFP Group if and when Las Vegas is awarded the future championship.”
