WASHOE COUNTY, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — One person is in the hospital after a single vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon. The crash occurred in the area of Woodchuck Circle on May 9.

The person is being treated for rabies exposure. Public Health Director Nancy McGraw said rabies, a deadly disease that attacks the brain and spinal cord, continues to be a problem in the county.
