Just over a year ago, Caitlin Clark was preparing to embark on her rookie season in the WNBA with the Indiana Fever, less than one month after being selected with the No. 1 pick in the draft.

During the matchup against the Dream, Clark connected on a pass to Lexie Hull, which nearly went viral on social media, with the WNBA, Indiana Fever and fan accounts posting a video of the play. Hull cut backdoor and Clark found her inside for what was eventually ruled an and-one play.

Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever fell to 1–1 on the young 2025 WNBA season Tuesday night. Despite a close 91–90 loss to the Atlanta Dream, Clark put on a show, finishing with 27 points, five rebounds, and 11 assists in a double-double performance.
