Large stretches of the U.S. await one of the season’s first blasts of wintry weather as temperatures dropped in the Northern Plains and snowstorms developed across the Great Lakes.

Hendricks, 35, accrued a 3.79 ERA over 12 seasons, 11 of which he spent with the Cubs. His long and decorated career included a 2016 World Series championship and the 2016 ERA title. Hendricks, who the Rangers selected in the eighth round of the 2011 MLB Draft out of Dartmouth, wrapped up his career with the Angels in 2025.
