The Galaxy S25 is yet another competent phone from Samsung. If you've been on your current device for a few years and you're shopping for something small and new, it's a fine pick. Still, I wish Samsung had moved the ball forward a little more this year — this is another in a line of very iterative Galaxy updates.

This year's Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event has unveiled the company's newest line of 2025 Galaxy S25 smartphones. They come in three familiar variants: the Galaxy S25, the Galaxy S25+, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra. All three models have been officially released and are now shipping out from Samsung and other retailers.

Samsung spent the bulk of its Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event this year talking about its brand-new AI features. In fact, it took about 30 minutes into the presentation to get to the new S25 line of smartphones before the company once again pivoted to the new AI features packed into the phone.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra offers incremental design updates with a slimmer profile and rounded edges for improved comfort. The display is an excellent panel with anti-reflective coating, variable refresh rate,
