Two people were killed and two police officers were injured in a shooting Monday evening at a supermarket in northern Indiana, police said.

Two responding officers exchanged gunfire with a suspect, who was killed in the incident, police said. The officers were taken to a local hospital and are in stable condition, according to McBrier.
