Six Detroit Lions players, including safety Brian Branch, will compete in the 2024 Pro Bowl Games in Orlando after a successful 15-2 season.
The Lions had seven players make the initial roster for the Pro Bowl — quarterback Jared Goff, running back Jahmyr Gibbs, wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, center Frank Ragnow, Sewell, safety Brian Branch and punter Jack Fox — and had 11 players named as alternates.
There will be no blue hair at the Pro Bowl after all. Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown has pulled out of the showcase event this weekend due to injury and been replaced by Giants wideout Malik Nabers, according to an announcement from the Giants.
Lions left tackle Taylor Decker is headed to his first Pro Bowl. The team announced Monday that Decker will replace teammate Penei Sewell. It is unclear what the injury is for the Lions’ right tackle as he played every down of the divisional round loss to the Commanders and wasn’t listed on the injury report leading up to the game.
