On Friday, Snoop Dogg and Rick Ross headlined the exclusive Crypto Ball, a black-tie event organized by crypto entrepreneur David Sacks, recently appointed by Trump as the “AI and Crypto Czar.” The two hip-hop legends reportedly accepted payment for their performances in Bitcoin, currently trading at a staggering $103,000 per coin.

A jury ordered the rapper to pay $5m (£3.2m) in damages in 2015. During the trial, she was seen with her family in tears in the courtroom. According to media reports, Lastonia Leviston is expected to have a net worth of around $3 million.

Many feel that if Snoop Dogg had supported Trump from the beginning, at least it would have been consistent. However, they argue, the sudden change in allegiance after taking such a strong stand previously stings.

Known for donning the iconic “Make America Great Again” hats, West consistently aligned himself with Trump throughout his presidency. In 2018, West met with Trump at the White House, where they discussed a variety of topics, including criminal justice reform.
