Princess Beatrice's baby, Athea, now joins an informal club of family members with the middle name 'Elizabeth', in honour of the late Queen.

Princess Beatrice and her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are sharing the first look at their baby daughter. According to a post shared on the Royal Family’s Instagram account, Beatrice and Mapelli Mozzi welcomed their daughter into the world on Wednesday, Jan. 22, at 12:57 p.m.

Princess Beatrice's daughter's name is a sweet nod to Queen Elizabeth II - and upholds a long-standing family tradition. Baby Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapelli Mozzi was born on Wednesday, January 22, just minutes before 1pm at London's Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.
