Jeff Fowler, director of Sonic the Hedgehog 3, confirms that there will be new characters teased for a potential sequel following the next film.

Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is headed our way next month, and it looks like fans are in for a treat. The film will reveal the character Shadow the Hedgehog, voiced by fan-favorite actor Keanu Reeves , who has been said to have really done his homework on the character.

A fourth movie has yet to be greenlit, but 'Sonic the Hedgehog 3' will introduce another franchise character to set up the series' future.
