A 44-year-old Connecticut man was identified as the victim of a fatal motorcycle crash earlier this week, authorities said.
Stamford police said Heber Lopez, 44, was killed after his BMW motorcycle went off the road and hit a fence, throwing him from the bike.
It happened just after midnight on Long Ridge Road near Brook Lane.

STAMFORD, CT (WFSB) - A man was killed in a motorcycle crash that happened in Stamford early Thursday morning. The rider was only identified as a 44-year-old Stamford resident, Stamford police said.
