Tottenham Hotspur defenders Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero are still two or three weeks away from returning but the club's injury list is slowly improving, says manager Ange Postecoglou.

Ange Postecoglou has revealed Tottenham Hotspur are taking a particularly cautious approach to Micky van de Ven's return from a hamstring injury. Van de Ven has suffered four hamstring issues since he joined Spurs in 2023 and missed seven weeks over the festive period because of his latest problem.

Throughout Tottenham's difficult winter, as Dragusin and Gray racked up the minutes for a sinking side, the fitness of Romero and Van de Ven has hung over the club, their returns intrinsically tied for many supporters to Spurs' hopes of salvaging the season.
