Matthew Boyd started and pitched five innings Thursday night in Game 3 of the American League Championship Series for the Guardians. It might not seem like a big deal, but it was the longest start by a Cleveland pitcher in the first eight games of this postseason run.

Trailing 2-0 in the ALCS, the Guardians will turn to Matthew Boyd in Game 3. How they handle Games 4 and 5, however, remains up in the air.
