Greta Gerwig's 'Narnia' adaptation will open in IMAX theaters on November 26, 2026 before streaming on Netflix beginning December 25, 2026.

The pact with the streaming giant will see the C.S. Lewis book series adaptation get a global release in Imax theaters in Thanksgiving 2026, two weeks before the online debut.

Netflix is cool with commercials now, but still not theaters. Well, unless it's one of the two exhibition houses it owns: the Egyptian in Hollywood and the Paris in New York. But sometimes, you just have to give Greta Gerwig her way.
