NASA astronauts Suni Williams and Butch Wilmore completed a spacewalk Thursday while awaiting their delayed return to Earth. Williams set a new spacewalking record for female astronauts during the mission.

NASA astronauts Sunita "Suni" Williams and Barry "Butch" Wilmore surely didn't think they'd still be on the International Space Station this long when they left Earth in June. In fact, they initially expected to stay for just eight days.

The pair have been stranded in the International Space Station since last June and likely won't return until late March or early April.
