“Late Show” host Stephen Colbert on Wednesday said in the eight days since the election Donald Trump has already managed to be “way worse” than he expected. Colbert pointed out that Trump earlier in the day nominated Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) to be his attorney general.

"I thought if Trump won, he would do the worst things I could imagine. Turns out, I don't have much of an imagination," Colbert says after Matt Gaetz was picked to be Attorney General

Trump has also tapped Gov. Kristi Noem to head up Homeland Security. Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy are set to run a new government agency called Department of Government Efficiency. Fox News anchor Pete Hegseth is also set to be the Secretary of Defense.

Stephen Colbert put on a brave face on Wednesday night’s (November 6) edition of The Late Show as he addressed Donald Trump ‘s presidential victory over Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday (November 5). And he also made his prediction as to how he thinks the next four years will go.
