Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway established new positions in consumer companies Domino’s Pizza and Pool Corp. while mostly selling stocks in the third quarter. Berkshire Hathaway initiated these new positions during the third quarter even as it cut back its holdings of big names like Apple and Bank of America.

Berkshire Hathaway Inc. bought stock in Domino’s Pizza Inc. and Pool Corp. during the third quarter as Chairman Warren Buffett cut back on some long-held investments. Shares of the two new holdings jumped in late New York trading.

Berkshire first invested in Amazon in Q1 2019. During that quarter, Amazon's average price was about $83 per share. The stock trading for around $200 per share now would indicate a 141% return on investment. However, the bulk of that return has come in recent months, as Amazon's AI affiliation is starting to take hold.
