This mesmerizing photo of a late summer sunset on the shores of Aliso Beach was taken by a local photographer.

Two people were arrested after a pedestrian was killed in Sunset Beach on Sunday night in a hit-and-run collision. The pedestrian was hit on Pacific Coast Highway, near 24th Street.
