Jerry McGowan doubled, homered and drove in four runs and Matt Vanaman tossed a one-hitter as Cedar Creek downed Holy Spirit 11-1 in Egg Harbor City. Vanaman went the distance in the five-inning game.

Brielle Soltys scored four goals, including the game winner in double overtime, to lead the Holy Spirit High School girls lacrosse team to a 9-8 victory over Lenape in a nonconference game Thursday.
