The Indiana Fever hired Stephanie White as coach on Friday, putting her in charge of a team led by WNBA Rookie of the Year Caitlin Clark.

The long WNBA offseason has officially begun, and there will be more activity than usual this winter. Not only because of the upcoming expansion draft to fill out the Golden State Valkyries roster, but also due to the unusual number of coaching changes.

Per multiple sources, Indiana is expected to lure current Connecticut Sun head coach Stephanie White away to be the next Fever head coach.

The coaching carousel started five days after the WNBA regular season ended, when the Los Angeles Sparks parted ways with coach Curt Miller on Sept. 24.
