Although Sony is looking to increasing its "share of the overall game market by developing content for PCs", the company's joint CEO Hideaki Nishino has reaffirmed its consoles will remain at the "core" of the business.

Speaking during an interview with Nikkei, Sony Interactive Entertainment ‘s Head of Platform Business Group, Hideaki Nishino, revealed that consoles will still remain at the core of the PlayStation business going forward, despite the campy expanding into PC and mobile devices.
