The Reserve Bank of India has extended the tenure of IDFC First Bank's Managing Director V Vaidyanathan for an additional three years until December 2

He took over as the MD and CEO of IDFC First Bank in December 2018, following the merger of Capital First and IDFC Bank

Shares of IDFC First Bank gained 1.42 per cent to settle at Rs 73.81 on BSE on Thursday, September 19. The scrip opened at Rs 73.20 per share, making a high of Rs 74.25 and a low of Rs 71.17. The previous day close of the scrip was Rs 72.

Reserve Bank of India extends the tenure of IDFC First Bank MD V Vaidyanathan for another 3 years, keeping him in the role until December 2027.
