Premier League referee David Coote has been sacked by English soccer referees' body PGMOL on Monday, after their investigation found his actions to be in serious breach of his contract.

PGMOL stated that a thorough investigation revealed Coote had "seriously breached the terms of his employment contract," and his position was deemed untenable. Although Coote had
