The impact of a rare winter storm in west Alabama Friday was limited in Tuscaloosa County, but State Troopers say roads in other areas are closed for icy conditions.

Weather forecasters say a mix of freezing rain, sleet and snow will enter West Alabama shortly after midnight Thursday.
